The original version of this track featured on the Sony PSP version of WipEout Pure back in 2005. When I released the Ch'illout'' album, quite a few eagle eyed people spotted that Onyx was conspicuous by it's absence. This wasn't deliberate, I just didn't think of including it in the tracklist.
Well... here I've set things straight with a laid back slower blend. The original track was over 30bpm faster, and deliberately over-compressed, so I've eased back a bit here and given it some more dynamics. I also decided not to stray too far from the original as I have done with many of the tracks on Ch'illout''.
Hope you like! ;o)

It’s clear from the very first track that Chris Huelsbeck's goal with this pseudo-Turrican 4 album was to provide a fresh, yet familiar listening experience - and I'm happy to report that it is exactly that! An utter surprise from start to finish. Ian Monsen

The feel of Turrican II's soundtrack is far more cinematic than even its predecessor, and compliments the on-screen action perfectly. These arranged soundtracks just drive that point home even more so. Hats off to ya, Chris! Robert Menes
