Recently there's been a big upsurge in all things 80s, including the music and graphical styling. For some reason ( maybe the bassline and electronic lead sounds? ) this track just puts me in mind of that era.
I think a variation of this track would probably work well as title music for some kind of SciFi TV show from back then... it's even got an end credits style refrain in the middle at around the 1'50" mark.

(Haystack) One of my favorite VG OSTs ever. Module clearly had an immense amount of fun (and blood, sweat, and tears) making this. Thanks, man! I may be done playing Shatter, but I'll be listening to your music for years to come. Goes particularly well with my after-midnight, half-hour drives home each night after work! J.R. Caldoon

It's childhood. It's a beautiful soundtrack. It's nostalgia. It's still getting jumpscared by cave noises at 2AM, because you're still playing this damn game 10 years later. It's Minecraft! devin_s

It's hard to pick a favourite track. This is the only album i have so far deemed as "perfect", where every track, even the intro, is just a masterpiece in its own right. From the hard hitting Perturbator's Theme to the emotional title track, its 68 minutes of perfection. 10/10. connivingkhajiit
